Delivery
Stock permitting, all ready-made item orders (within the UK) are dispatched using a tracked Royal Mail, next day special delivery service, usually within 5-7 working days. All made to order items ordered through our website (stated 'made to order' or 'crafted to order') will usually be dispatched within 2-4 weeks (this can vary depending on complexity of the ring and time of year ie. Leading up to Christmas. Bespoke orders will usually be dispatched within 3-5 weeks however your dedicated Bespoke team member will endeavor to give you a delivery timescale estimate at the time of order and keep you updated accordingly.
We will send you an email with a Tracking Reference when your order is dispatched so you can track your delivery.
All orders are sent out in plain packing with no mention of Cherish Jewellery Limited on the outside.
If the item you ordered is a surprise present, the wording on the packaging will not give any indication to the item enclosed. Deliveries are made to the delivery address that is supplied when the order is placed.
Dispatch and Delivery times may be affected by ongoing Covid-19 circumstances. There might be some delay with next day delivery and will prioritise this service but can’t guarantee next day delivery in all locations at all times. Please check your tracking reference for updates on your delivery.
Please note that once an item has been passed to a delivery courier, Cherish Jewellery UK Limited are no longer responsible or liable for a package.
What if my item goes missing after dispatch?
All orders dispatched by Cherish Jewellery (within the UK) are sent via Royal Mail. All orders require a signature upon delivery. In the unlikely event that your order goes missing once it has left Cherish Jewellery's possesion, the following procedures apply.
Due to postal carrier regulations, orders are not declared as ‘lost in post’ until a specific number of days elapses because there is a chance that your order may still be delivered late. Before a claim can be raised for an order 'lost in post', the follow time periods must have passed without delivery of your order:
Delivery Type
Days until item is declared 'Lost in Post'
UK standard delivery via Recorded Delivery:
15 working days
UK express delivery via Special Delivery:
10 working days from last status update
Items sent to Europe / International:
20 working days
Once the numbers of days have elapsed, we will re-issue your order or cancel your order and refund any monies paid depending on your preference.
What if my order is showing as delivered but I have not received it?
If your order has been signed for but you have not received it, please check with your neighbours who may have taken receipt of the parcel on your behalf. You can check the signature using the tracking link sent to you.
If you are still unable to locate the parcel, then please let us know immediately so we can make a compliant to the carrier. The time taken for to resolve a complaint with carriers can vary depending on the actions required.
In the first instance, the carrier will make an enquiry with the Delivery Officer, which in most cases are concluded within 7 working days.
If the enquiry cannot be resolved within 7 working days, we will need to submit a claim form to the carrier. This is more common in instances where receipt is denied (i.e. there is a signature for the parcel but you do not recognise this). In this case, the carrier will undertake a mail fraud investigation and you may be contacted by the Police. Please note that these claims can take up to 30 days to be resolved.
